Gua Tempurung

Yeappies. I just got hold some of the photos taken in Gua Tempurung. My church's youths had a trip there bout 2 weeks ago. Being in a cave was an experience which was very new for me. I have never been to one before this. Yesh. I definitely wan to go "explore" another cave again. It's very fun. keke. The limestones there were very beautiful and so were the interesting facts bout it.

Started the journey in the cave with 200 over or 300 over steps up to the highest point in the cave where they call it the Top of The World. On our way there, the guide briefed us of how the different kinds and sizes of limestones were formed and also showed us some limestones which reassembled stuff like various animals, the face of the buddha, human body shape and so on. After that, we had to climb down to a small river in the cave.

Soaking, not sweating a lot yet and smiling. There were lotsa bats hanging on the cave above us. Thank God it wasn't the season where they'll fly around. They just stood put where they were.

Spotted a caveman. I wonder how long has he been trapped in this cave. Poor fellar.
After that, we had to slide down to get to stop . The stone that we had to slide down was pretty smooth and slippery.

Me!!!... trying to get down in that tiny hole.

This was taken just after all of us managed to go through that hole. Lyn, trying to lick the limestone. kononnya. :)

The caveman had a waterproof light. lol. spot Lyn at the back. Haha. She reminds me of Homer stuffing the donut in his mouth. Btw, the limestones here in this picture wasn't as low as some areas which we went through. We even had to crawl at the other place. Getting all wet was the best part however.

On the way , caveman and kenn was desperate to have a sooo loving pose. er but i think kenn seemed a little uneasy. lol. Who cares? Well, we then continued our journey untill we saw the light to the exit.

This was the end of the journey for us. Everyone was happy together being soggy, wet and skinky eeky. The whole exploration of the cave took approx. 2 1/2 hours.

Hope the next trip to the cave will be something even more thrilling. keke.

The END :)
